From Jeff

Bere Alston United Church is very much a community church, supported by two denominations, Methodist and URC, but I defy you to spot any denominational tags in the congregation. People join our church from a variety of backgrounds, both church and non-church, and decide to belong because they feel at home here.

All the members come from the Bere Peninsula and we therefore reflect the concerns, interests, hopes and dreams of our local community. We also seek to be a church which is relevant to today's society, and one which seeks to worship God in a relevant way, with both contemporary and traditional forms of worship.

We worship God because we have experienced his love for us in Christ, and his power for living through the Holy Spirit. We seek to share our experience with our local community through evangelism, social outreach, and community involvement, usually in partnership with our friends in the local Anglican churches.

If you're coming to live in the Bere Peninsula, or coming to visit, or on holiday, then do come along and join us at 10.30am on Sunday morning and find a warm welcome!

With love in Jesus, Rev Jeff Moles
