The First Messy Church

Our first Messy Church was held just after Easter, being a cooperation between all the churches on the peninsula. It was great fun and the second was held on 19th July. It was a chance for parents, grandparents etc to spend some time with their children getting messy and enjoying crafts as well as having a time of worship and sharing in a meal. There was also the chance to chill out with some books.

These were just some of the activities.

The playdough was intended for the younger children, but the adults seemed to hog it!
Some of the creations: kids left, adults right! I think....

Our big banner

Pots with sunflower seeds planted in and some edible decorated delights

Less messy were origami boxes. They were much admired, and even better they contained chocolate eggs!

And we all shared in a meal at the end
